UPDATES On Keven, Brandy and Zeke

All these wonderful children have found their families...

I am THRILLED they are receiving surgeries to help their burn injuries and getting things reconstructed for the injuries they sustained.

I will ask their moms if I can share new photos of their children.

Thank you for sharing them... Thank you for praying for them...

EBBA ~ update 2-5-2015

EBBA

EBBA has a cheery outlook to have been through so much tragedy.  She lost her mother right after she was burned... because her mom felt sooo guilty and decided she could not live with herself having a child with disfiguring injuries.

Ebba continues to learn new ways to help herself.   having lost one hand completely and the fingers of her right hand, she has learned how to use her remaining thumb to open "smarties" candies and share.  She has learned how to use h er elbow joint to hold things and her thumb acts as a "pincher" to grasp things to pick them up.  I bet she can dress herself and manage her bathroom needs on her own.

The BIG news is her adoption fees have been greatly reduced to help her find a family she needs.
The costs for Ebba’s adoption have been greatly reduced; it is estimated her adoption would cost around $15,500.

She would be a great candidate for Shriner's Children's hospitals.  I know the one in Cincinnati has one AWESOME burn unit to help kids like Ebba.

Please check her Reece's Rainbow link:

She has a Reece's Rainbow account where donations are tax deductible.  If you are inclined to donate, those would be GREATLY appreciated as well.

Meet EBBA (from Africa)

Beautiful 8 year old Ebba desperately needs a family that is willing to take on the challenges of her burns and give her a new life. People who have met her says she is the sweetest thing. Ebba fell into the fire at her home after trying to cook; she fell into the fire when she fainted due to being so hungry. Her mother could not live with what happened to Ebba and took her own life, leaving Ebba an orphan. Could you be her family or know someone that might be?

From a family who spent several weeks with her in Dec 2014/Jan 2015:
She is the sweetest and so loving and so gentle and so friendly and so precious and so smiley. I could go on FOR DAYS.
She does have a thumb on one hand and can hold things and eat using it.

Shriner's in Cincinnati can help with her burn scars.  My concern is her photos do not appear to show her able to fully close her mouth.  I can only assume she was burned on her chest area and her hands were severely injured.  For MORE info please contact:

I would LOVE for this child to find her FOREVER family.  In her country she has little chance for a regular life.
